Guidelines for Pregnant Guests, Children, and Guests with Disabilities
Our off-roading adventures are designed to offer an exhilarating and rugged experience. Due to the nature of the terrain and the physical demands of the activities, we advise that these adventures may not be suitable for women who are expecting. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before participating in any off-roading activities during pregnancy.
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we require that guests be at least 10 years of age or older to join our off-roading adventures. We prioritize safety and want to ensure that each individual is capable of following drone safety protocols appropriately and safely. This age requirement helps us maintain a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Additionally, we are committed to keeping this exciting industry alive by fostering a safe and responsible environment for both current and future generations of drone enthusiasts and adventurers.
At Drone Envisions Adventures, we strive to provide an exciting and inclusive experience for all our guests. However, due to the rugged nature of our off-roading adventures, we require that all participants have enough strength and mobility to get in and out of the vehicle independently. Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure that everyone can fully enjoy the adventure in a secure and comfortable manner.
Physical Activity Requirements
All of our adventures involve some level of physical activity, as we make frequent stops on uneven, unpaved terrain and dirt pathways. These stops often include short walks. Therefore, it is important that participants have the physical capability to navigate these conditions comfortably and independently.
Restroom Facility Usage
Before we head into the wild, we will make a stop to give everyone the opportunity to use restroom facilities. Please be aware that once we venture off-road, there will be no permanent restrooms available. However, we do provide a camping toilet seat and cover for privacy during our time in nature.
We want to ensure your comfort and convenience, so please take advantage of the facilities before our journey into the great outdoors begins.
Drone Flying Requirement
Welcome to our world of drone envisioning! Here, we empower aspiring drone pilots by offering them the chance to explore this exciting field without needing a TRUST nor a Part 107 certification—even though we highly recommend pursuing that knowledge. Our focus is on creating an inclusive environment where anyone can discover the joy of flying drones, acquiring valuable skills along the way. Embrace the experience and see the world from a whole new perspective with us.
If you are interested in obtaining a TRUST (The Recreational UAS Safety Test) certificate prior to joining our adventure please visit https://www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_flyers/knowledge_test_updates for more information
Personal Equipment and Rental Options
Guests are welcome to bring their own drones to capture the beauty of our adventures. Please note that any personal equipment is brought at your own risk, and Drone Envisions LLC will not be liable for any damages or loss of personal items. For your convenience, we offer drone rentals for a $39 flat fee. Our rental inventory include a range of drones to choose from, including the DJI Avata II, DJI Neo, and DJI Mini 3 Pro. This allows you to enjoy high-quality photography and drone flying without the worry of carrying your own gear. The rental fee also include a SD card of the footage you, yourself, have captured throughout the adventure for keepsake.
Emergency Preparedness & Emergency Protocols
At Drone Envisions Adventures, the safety and well-being of our guests are our top priorities. Each team member is CPR & First Aid certified, and our vehicles are equipped with First Aid Kits to handle minor injuries. We have emergency protocols in place, including a designated vehicle assigned to transport anyone with life-threatening injuries to the nearest point for contacting emergency services.
While the use of vehicles and off-roading always carries some risk, our team takes every precaution to ensure a safe adventure for everyone. Be aware that other potential dangers, depending on the season, may include exposure to scorpions and snakes common in our desert environment.
To avoid snake bites while out in the Nevada desert, we recommend always wearing long pants and sturdy hiking boots, staying on designated trails, being aware of your surroundings, making noise while walking to alert snakes, and never attempting to touch or provoke a snake. If you see a snake, give it ample space and back away slowly.
Recommended Clothing for Our Adventure
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable adventure, we recommend dressing appropriately for the rugged outdoor conditions. Wear long pants and sturdy hiking boots to protect against rough terrain and potential encounters with wildlife. Layered clothing is advised to accommodate changing weather conditions, and a hat and sunglasses can help shield you from the sun. Don't forget to bring a light jacket or windbreaker, as temperatures can vary. For added comfort, consider moisture-wicking and quick-drying fabrics. With the right clothing, you'll be well-prepared to fully enjoy the thrill of our off-roading adventures.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your adventure, you will receive a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled adventure. Your satisfaction and flexibility are important to us, and we aim to accommodate your needs whenever possible.
